Depending on where in the world you come from decides what you call us. It might be Real Estate Agents, Property Agents, Real Estate Brokers, Letting Agencies, or just plain Realtor. It really doesn’t matter because whatever the name, it all basically represents the same business.
The main job of a Bangkok real estate agent is to find suitable accommodation and help clients negotiate the best deal to either buy or rent a property. Or in the case of existing owners, a realtor helps them sell or lease their property.
Estate Agent Vs Independent
Many people have the misconception that agents are costly and unnecessary, thus making it better to manage their own property requirements. However, unless you’re skilled at this, it won’t be too long before you realise that using an agent isn’t such a bad idea after all. You will also realise that the expert knowledge and negotiating skills will likely save you money in the case of a tenancy or purchase, or make you more money in the case of a sale.
